Pro Wrestling is one of my favorite NES games of all time. It was simple yet fun, and included some of the oddest wrestling characters this side of M.U.S.C.L.E. It also included some of the best Engrish in the history of the NES.
As soon as you start up a match, you're treated to some Engrish. What wrestling ring have you ever seen that says "GO FIGHT!" on the side? After thinking about this for a while, I realized the text on the side had a purpose: What if a wrestler forgets mid-match that he's in the middle of a bout? If he were to attempt to leave the ring, he'd be met with a friendly reminder to go fight.
This is, without a doubt, my favorite example of Engrish in any game ever. I don't even feel the need to caption this one. Just sit back and absorb it's greatness.
In two player exhibition mode, a player must win two rounds to win. When a match is decided, you're brought to this screen that displays each player's victory count as well as some Engrish. Back
